General Operative

General day to day activities will vary, but will consist of the following plus other items which you may be asked to undertake

General day to day tidying of the factory and the surrounding store areas.

Assist our joiners and machinist with the lifting and processing of materials.

Assist our joiners and machinist with general manufacturing duties which often mean handling large amounts of timber and sheet materials.

Assist with the unloading of deliveries.

Assist with the loading of joinery items onto vehicles so they can be delivered.

Drive our delivery vehicles and deliver our goods to site.

Work with our joiners on site to install items such as bar’s and reception desks.

We would then like to develop the successful candidate with the following opportunities: –

• forklift truck training.
• provide the candidate with suitable training to enable you to work safely on some of our machines.
• Take the CSCS test to enable you to assist our team on site.

We require the candidate to have a full driving license.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday 08.00-16.45 & Friday 08.00-15.45.

Pay to be subject to the candidates experience and current skill levels.

Overtime opportunities are available with pay rates increasing to time and a half.
